Twin Signal are Cass Renner and Devi Amaro, two former musical-theater kids who met in a Toronto rehearsal studio in 2011, both fired from the same dance company for improvising too much. They rebuilt themselves around the opposite instinct: total precision. Their early YouTube clips — filmed in an empty mall food court — showed the pair executing mirror-image routines to home-built electropop, one voice answering the other line for line. A viral remix of their track "Countdown" landed them a support slot on a European arena tour, where they learned to write hooks that a stadium could shout back before the second chorus. Known for matching outfits, matching haircuts, and a live show engineered like clockwork, the duo treat every song as a two-person conversation set to 138 bpm.
