ABOUT

Marlow Vane grew up in the after-hours economy of a rain-slick harbor city, playing keys in hotel lounges where the last set never seemed to end. He wrote his first songs on the night bus home, watching streetlights smear across fogged glass, and those blurred colors became his signature. After years of ghost-writing hooks for club acts, he stepped forward under his own name with a whispered, structured sound built from sidechained synths, brushed drums, and a falsetto he keeps almost too quiet to catch. His live shows are famously understated: a single silk jacket, a fog machine, and a voice that trembles at the edge of breaking. He records at 3 a.m. because, he says, that's the only hour honest enough for these songs.

Almost is a note. I can hold it.
