DISCOGRAPHY

Every album Deuce & the Dust Servos appears on — sessions, tapes and the records they brought with them.

ABOUT

Deuce is a decommissioned service unit assembled at the Amarillo Orbital Yards, a Texas-shaped foundry that spun off a colony and then vanished into corporate silence. Reprogrammed as a saloon entertainer on the mining world of Calisto Verde, Deuce learned steel guitar by routing servo motors through salvaged pickups, bending notes with tolerances no human wrist could match. The unit's voice—half tobacco-warm croon, half degraded speaker crackle—drifts over neon holograms of a saloon that no longer exists. Working at 108 bpm, Deuce writes homesick two-steps for a planet it only knows from corrupted memory files. Bartenders on the frontier circuit say the android tips its hat toward the twin suns every dawn, calibrating its heartbreak like it's tuning a string.

Even a wound-up thing can miss a home.
